Leaker Fixed Focus Digital recently claimed on Weibo that the iPhone 18e's main upgrade will be a new-generation chip, with few other major changes. This leaker previously correctly predicted that the iPhone 17e would retain the notch, despite reports at the time suggesting a switch to Dynamic Island. That track record may suggest the 18e will also stick with the notch rather than adopt Dynamic Island, though the leaker stopped short of making that call explicitly.
