The National Radio and Television Administration, together with multiple departments, convened a deployment and advancement meeting for the nationwide promotion of integrated televisions. The meeting called on relevant parties to stay focused on their goals, refine work ledgers, and vigorously implement tasks; to closely track key links and refine measures; to strengthen industry collaboration and overall scheduling and supervision; to ensure that all deployments are completed before the end of the year; to standardize product forms and technical requirements; to carry out targeted promotion for various types of users; and to drive the industry chain to collaboratively build a healthy and sustainable ecosystem. Previously, China had completed prototype development, the deployment of tens of millions of plug-in micro set-top boxes, and pilot programs for millions of integrated televisions, and the nationwide promotion was officially launched in April this year. This product integrates set-top box functions into televisions in software form, enabling minimalist operation and a high-quality viewing experience.
