CATL and Bluenergy have signed a strategic product cooperation agreement under which CATL will develop a custom aviation power battery for Bluenergy's SKYLA V30 aircraft, and Bluenergy has designated CATL as its exclusive battery partner. The two companies will work together to advance innovation and application in electric aviation technology, collaborating in areas including technological innovation, joint research, standard setting, market expansion, and scenario-based operations. The SKYLA V30 is a 2.5-ton, six-seat all-electric manned tiltrotor eVTOL aircraft that combines vertical takeoff and landing capability with efficient fixed-wing cruise performance, offering a range of 260 kilometers and a maximum speed of 320 km/h.
