Apple is reportedly gearing up to introduce a higher-end smart home hub, tentatively dubbed HomeView. This upcoming gadget will boast a 9-inch display and incorporate a mechanical arm that enables 360-degree rotation. Anticipated to hit the market in 2027 or 2028, this innovative device promises to redefine home entertainment and smart home management.

The existing HomeView desktop model already offers a fixed 7-inch screen, housed within an aluminum alloy frame. It stands on a stainless steel hinge dome speaker base, allowing for seamless angle adjustments. The device features a 7-inch Liquid Retina display with True Tone technology, which automatically adjusts brightness levels from 0.3 nits to 500 nits. Moreover, its interface intelligently tailors the displayed content according to the user's proximity to the screen, enhancing the viewing experience.

Under the hood, the current HomeView is driven by the A18 chip and incorporates a Secure Enclave to safeguard user privacy at the hardware level. Positioned as a multifaceted device, it seamlessly integrates home entertainment, interpersonal connectivity, and smart home management functionalities. Enhanced with Apple Intelligence and a new-generation Siri AI, the HomeView is priced at $299, making it a compelling option for tech enthusiasts and smart home aficionados alike.
