According to sources within Apple’s supply chain, the tech giant has fine-tuned its order allocations for new smartphone models set to launch in autumn 2026. Specifically, orders for the iPhone Duo have seen a significant 30% uptick; however, the total order volume remains capped at under 10 million units. Meanwhile, orders for the iPhone 18 Pro have been trimmed by 10%–15%, while those for the iPhone 18 Pro Max have climbed by an equivalent 10%–15%, effectively balancing out the total order volume for the iPhone 18 Pro series. Supply chain insiders note that this strategic adjustment signals a pivot toward higher-margin products, a move that generally augurs well for the financial health of companies operating within Apple’s supply ecosystem.
