Recently, Mr. Xiao, the leader of Zhejiang Fazhiqing Robot Co., Ltd., splashed out nearly 900,000 yuan to purchase 4 robotic dogs from Hangzhou Juwei Technology Co., Ltd. However, he found himself far from satisfied with the performance of these products. Among the order, two of the 'large-sized' robotic dogs failed to arrive as scheduled, while the two 'medium-sized' ones that were delivered were plagued with quality issues, rendering them unfit for commercial secondary development. Mr. Xiao explained that his intention behind buying these robotic dogs was to deploy them for park patrols and home security, with plans to subsequently sell them to external clients. Nevertheless, the manufacturer insisted on having a secondary development disclaimer agreement signed, which restricted their usage to research and educational contexts only. This requirement sparked a disagreement between the two parties. On October 6, Juwei Technology released a statement indicating that the issue had been amicably settled through negotiation.
