At Huawei's launch event for the Mate 90 series and its range of all-scenario new products, the company unveiled the Ruiying Z10, a fully self-developed modular camera. This innovative camera boasts a Hyperclick super mount, with the standard version priced at 5,999 yuan and the collector's edition set at 19,499 yuan. Some users have observed that, despite the camera's lens cap being marked with a 62mm diameter, it does not support standard 62mm filters. In response to this, Li Xiaolong, the CTO of Huawei Terminal BG, clarified that the lens barrel is deliberately designed to be incompatible with standard 62mm filters. This intentional design choice is made to avoid color shift that could occur if the Red Maple camera were obstructed.

Li Xiaolong further explained that users can adapt the camera to accommodate a 77mm diameter using an adapter ring, enabling them to install 77mm filters instead. The Ruiying Z10 modular camera is equipped with a 1-inch 50Mp sensor and a sophisticated 6-group 16-element combined optical lens. It supports 10x continuous optical zoom, ranging from 24mm to 240mm. Additionally, it can be paired with a smartphone to facilitate image computation and storage, enhancing the overall photography experience.
