This week, Apple Stores across the globe have taken delivery of a series of confidential boxes. Each box bears a sticker with the clear instruction: "Do not open before October 8." These boxes contain promotional materials for Apple's smart home products. The purpose of these materials is to enable employees to update store labels, promotional posters, and product displays in advance of the product launch. There has been some conjecture that these materials could be linked to Apple's inaugural foldable phone, the so-called iPhone Duo. However, it is more probable that they are connected to the HomeHub smart home hub. According to reports, Apple has plans to unveil the HomeHub smart home hub, along with the new Apple TV 4K and the HomePod mini 2, on October 13.
