On September 21, Apple updated the support documentation for Mac mini components, specifying that the solid-state drive (SSD) module in the 2024 model remains replaceable with other compatible parts. However, for the latest Mac mini models powered by M5/M6 chips, the SSD module is no longer classified as a user-replaceable component in Apple’s official documentation. Additionally, the corresponding repair guides omit instructions for independent SSD replacement, signaling that Apple’s official repair services no longer recognize the SSD as a separately replaceable part.
