On September 23, a multitude of iPhone users observed that Apple has rolled out a novel setting option, namely 'Restrict Motion Data,' specifically for Chinese users in the latest iOS 27.2 Beta 2 test version. This particular feature can be found under the 'Settings — Privacy & Security — Motion & Fitness' menu. When activated, users gain the ability to manually bar apps from accessing motion sensor data, encompassing accelerometer and gyroscope information. This, in turn, effectively thwarts the triggering of 'shake-to-interact' splash screen ads at the system level, providing a more streamlined and user-friendly experience.
