Data released by market research firm Counterpoint Research on Friday showed that in the second quarter of 2026, Samsung Electronics' Exynos application processors accounted for 9% of global smartphone AP shipments, reaching the highest level since the firm first started tracking relevant data in 2024. During this quarter, Samsung's Exynos processor shipments increased year-on-year, with high-end market sales benefiting from the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, while mid-range market shipments were driven by models such as the Samsung Galaxy A57 and A37.
