On September 17, reports surfaced indicating that, in the wake of Apple unveiling its inaugural foldable iPhone Duo, Samsung is contemplating expediting the release of its next-generation triple-folding smartphone, the Galaxy Z TriFold 2. The launch timeline for this device has potentially been advanced to late 2026 or early 2027, a departure from its original schedule set for the latter half of 2027. Sources reveal that the Galaxy Z TriFold 2 has been in the development phase for several months and is expected to boast a broader yet more compact form factor, along with an integrated S Pen slot. Samsung intends to maintain the pricing of this new iteration in line with that of its first-generation counterpart.
