On September 14, Apple revised its support documentation, revealing that the upcoming iOS 27 system will incorporate an 'Impersonation Risk Detection' function, specifically designed to assist iPhone 18 Pro users in thwarting online fraud. This innovative feature is tailored to tackle the prevalent issue of fraudsters masquerading as legitimate entities to deceive users into taking certain actions. Through a comprehensive analysis of device data and Apple account details, the system evaluates the risk level, categorizing it into three tiers: unknown, medium, and high. Subsequently, it prompts the relevant app to implement appropriate countermeasures. It's important to note that this feature is deactivated by default. To enable it, users must navigate to their settings and activate the 'Share with App Developers' option.
