During the 2026 OPPO Developer Conference, OPPO officially launched the ColorOS 17 operating system and declared that its three major brands—OPPO, OnePlus, and realme—would be the first to undergo simultaneous upgrades. ColorOS currently boasts a global user base exceeding 770 million active users. The system incorporates Fluid Design, integrating the cutting-edge Aurora Engine and Tide Engine to ensure an ultra-smooth user experience. Furthermore, built upon three foundational AI technology pillars—advanced computing, refined perception, and a novel ecosystem—ColorOS 17 attains personalized proactive intelligence, providing seamless and convenient services across various scenarios. Additionally, the system encompasses humanistic care features, including an elderly-friendly design, fraud prevention mechanisms, and enhanced accessibility options. ColorOS 17 will make its initial appearance on the OPPO Find X10 series and OnePlus 16. Tang Kai, President of OPPO's Software Engineering Business Division, emphasized that OPPO will persist in prioritizing user-centric product development.
