Meta is gearing up to introduce a novel category of smart glasses, internally designated as Luna. These glasses eschew the camera feature altogether and are outfitted with six microphones, empowering users to interact vocally with the Meta AI chatbot and the recently unveiled AI assistant, Muse. Positioned along the sides of the glasses' arms are buttons that allow for instant activation of Meta AI with a single press. Additionally, the glasses are fitted with open-type speakers for an immersive audio experience. The product is poised to make its debut at the Meta Connect event scheduled for September 23-24, with potential shipments commencing as early as October.
