Apple's iOS 27.2 Beta 1 introduces a new system management migration process, enabling the same developer to migrate old app data and settings to a designated replacement app. Users can choose whether to migrate, and if they decline, iOS will warn that some preference settings will need to be reconfigured. This feature is limited to migration between apps from the same developer and cannot be used for migration across apps from different developers.
