The Vectis measures approximately 10.4 meters in length and 11.6 meters in wingspan, featuring a tailless configuration and lambda wing design. Its deeply buried dorsal air intake reduces drag, enabling takeoff and landing from Simple runway (simplified runways). It can perform air-to-air, air-to-ground strikes, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and electronic warfare missions. It can launch missiles and bombs from internal weapon bays, is equipped with electro-optical/infrared sensors beneath the nose, and has multiple conformal antenna openings reserved on the fuselage. The Vectis utilizes Lockheed Martin's MDCX autonomous platform, allowing pilots to control it via a tablet-style touch interface or ground station. Its open architecture enables integration of third-party sensors and weapons. The U.S. Air Force's target unit price for CCA Increment 1 is approximately $20 million, and the Vectis is positioned at this price point, employing 'minimal tooling deterministic assembly' technology to reduce labor hours. The U.S. Air Force plans to procure at least 1,000 CCA drones, with the Vectis targeting customers including the U.S. Air Force, Navy, and international allies.
