The results of performance tests for AMD's entry-level graphics card, the Radeon RX 9050, have now been made public. This particular card boasts a notably low nominal power consumption of merely 92W. To put this into perspective, it's a significant 68W less than the RX 9060 XT and 40W less than the RX 9060. Nevertheless, when subjected to most benchmark and game tests, its performance falls short of the GeForce RTX 5050. In a broad sense, its overall performance hovers around 60% of what the Radeon RX 9060 XT can deliver. Delving into the specifics of the 3DMark tests, the RX 9050 manages to achieve scores that are approximately 55% to 66% of those attained by the RX 9060 XT in the Fire Strike test. When compared to the RTX 5050, there's a noticeable gap of about 16% to 27%. Moving on to the Time Spy test, the RX 9050 scores around 59% to 60% of what the RX 9060 XT achieves, with a relatively smaller gap of about 10% when pitted against the RTX 5050. In terms of game testing, taking Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 as an example, the RX 9050's average frame rate is roughly 48% to 55% of that of the RX 9060 XT. And when compared to the RTX 5050, there's a gap of about 19% to 41%.
