Apple and Epic Games have been embroiled in a long-standing dispute over antitrust issues related to the App Store. Recently, Apple officially submitted its opening brief for argument to the U.S. Supreme Court, requesting the reversal or overturning of a previous 'civil contempt of court' ruling against it. If the Supreme Court supports Apple's appeal, the U.S. App Store is expected to revert to its state prior to the rule adjustments in 2025.
