On September 15, 2026, Apple formally rolled out iOS 27, tackling more than 100 security vulnerabilities present in crucial system elements like the kernel and Bluetooth. Concurrently, Apple also made iOS 26.7 available for those users who prefer to stick with iOS 26. This version addresses over 80 security issues, 75 of which overlap with those fixed in iOS 27. The scale of this update is substantial, and notably, some of the vulnerabilities were detected with the aid of AI technology.
