According to the latest report on folding smartphone panel shipments released by Counterpoint Research, in the first half of 2026, there was a 13% year-on-year decrease in the overall global shipments of folding smartphone panels, accompanied by a notable shift in market structure. Specifically, shipments of large folding panels witnessed a 35% year-on-year increase, with their market share expanding from 50% to 78%. In contrast, shipments of clamshell folding panels experienced a significant 62% year-on-year decline.
