Xiaomi has officially launched its first-ever NAS (Network Attached Storage) product, the Xiaomi Smart Storage, which is now available for purchase. The device comes in three storage options: 4TB, 8TB, and 16TB, priced at 2699 yuan, 3499 yuan, and 5499 yuan, respectively.

Featuring a dual-bay design, the Xiaomi Smart Storage supports up to 60TB of total storage capacity when expanded, and is compatible with both 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch hard drives. For connectivity and backup, it offers dynamic and dual-backup functions, along with multiple interfaces including USB-A 3.0, HDMI 1.4, and a 2.5GbE network port.

Under the hood, the device is equipped with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage. It boasts a sleek design with a 6-series integrated aluminum frame and integrates a central hub gateway for enhanced connectivity.

Functionally, the Xiaomi Smart Storage supports AI-powered smart photo management and provides an advanced experience tailored for Xiaomi device users. It allows for simultaneous use by up to 16 accounts, facilitating family sharing and multi-terminal remote access. Additional features include intelligent movie organization and remote downloading capabilities—it can automatically recognize movie information and generate visually appealing poster walls. Moreover, it supports 4K HDR10 video playback for an immersive viewing experience.
