In the beta version of iOS 27, Apple has integrated a vibrant birthday reminder feature into the 'Phone' app. Upon making or receiving a call, the app will seamlessly pull up the relevant personal contact cards from the user's address book. Should a contact's birthday be listed and it happens to be that very day, the iPhone's screen will light up with a striking notification banner, enhanced by lively fireworks animations. This allows users to view the birthday reminder prior to connecting the call, eliminating the need to hold the phone up to their ear.
