On August 7th, Insta360 unveiled an AI voice assistant feature tailored for its GO Ultra thumb camera. This innovative function harnesses the power of distinct large-scale models depending on the geographical location: the Alibaba QianWen large model is deployed in Mainland China, whereas Google Gemini is adopted in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, as well as international markets. The translated outputs can be directly relayed through the camera's integrated speaker. At the core of this AI voice assistant lies Insta360's proprietary technology, which synergizes the multimodal prowess of Alibaba's QianWen large model with the photographic Q&A functionalities of the QianWen App. The device itself is responsible for voiceprint recognition and intent analysis, while the cloud undertakes more intricate tasks, including Q&A processing, mode transitions, and translation.
