Almost three years on from the debut of the QuietComfort over-ear noise-cancelling headphones, the esteemed audio giant Bose is gearing up to unveil its latest offering—the second-generation Bose QuietComfort. As per reports from tech media outlets, these headphones are slated for worldwide pre-order on August 7, with an official launch date set for August 13. From a design perspective, they uphold the classic over-ear silhouette while refining the ear cup, headband, and connection framework. They incorporate softer synthetic leather materials and boast a palette of six color choices. Functionally, they introduce Bose TrueSpatial spatial audio technology for the inaugural time, complemented by the new Cinema Mode and Immersive Mode. They support lossless audio transmission through USB-C and feature an intelligent adaptive noise cancellation system, along with a multi-microphone array to ensure superior call quality. In terms of battery performance, they deliver 24 hours of playback with active noise cancellation activated and 18 hours when utilizing the TrueSpatial feature.
