On August 6, Nintendo unveiled its financial report, revealing that in the initial quarter of the 2027 fiscal year (spanning from April to June 2026), the sales of the Switch 2 console experienced a notable 34.4% year-on-year decrease, amounting to 3.82 million units sold. Meanwhile, sales of the original Switch console also saw a decline, dropping by 31.8% year-on-year, with 660,000 units sold.
