On August 3, Galactic Energy Space made a public announcement, revealing its intention to undertake an opportunistic launch of its 'Pallas-1 (Y1)' commercial carrier rocket in the foreseeable future. This particular rocket model stands as a cornerstone in Galactic Energy Space's lineup, meticulously crafted for the burgeoning commercial launch market. It harnesses the power of liquid oxygen and kerosene as its propellants, boasts reusable features, and is engineered to endure up to 25 reuse cycles. Standing tall at 52 meters, with a diameter of 3.35 meters, a takeoff mass of 283 tons, and a payload capacity of 7 tons for low Earth orbit, this rocket is aptly suited to meet the escalating demands for large-scale constellation deployments and hefty satellite launches. The launch site has been designated as the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. Notably, no first-stage recovery test will be conducted at this juncture; instead, recovery verification will be systematically initiated following the successful completion of the maiden flight.
