Recently, a renowned hardware aficionado employed 3D printing technology to craft a modular 'chimney' cooling system. When subjected to full load, this innovative design effectively lowered the core temperature of the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor by a remarkable 19°C. Nevertheless, the structure's excessive height, which nearly reached the ceiling, made it infeasible for practical PC assembly. This experiment not only showcased the potential of passive cooling through the 'chimney effect' but also underscored the difficulties in temperature management encountered by today's high-performance 3D V-Cache processors.
