In light of prior industry discussions concerning the specifications of the new entry-level RDNA 4 architecture graphics cards, AMD has recently made an official announcement. It stated that while the newly released Radeon RX 9050 graphics card is set to come in both 4GB and 8GB memory variants, only the 8GB version will be offered as a standalone graphics card in the retail market. The 4GB version, on the other hand, will be exclusively provided to OEM manufacturers and system integrators. This means it will be pre-installed in complete systems and low-end PC setups.
