On July 22, He Xiaopeng, Chairman and CEO of XPENG Group, announced that the Airworthiness Certification Department of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) released the 'First Batch of Compliant Enterprises for Civil Manned eVTOL Airworthiness Certification' on the same day, including XPENG AEROHT Technology Co., Ltd. and three other leading domestic manned eVTOL aircraft manufacturers. Selected enterprises will benefit from streamlined certification processes, priority handling of application materials, and cross-batch recognition of interim test results to accelerate commercialization.
