On Monday, electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft manufacturer Archer Aviation and defense technology company Anduril Industries jointly unveiled their co-developed autonomous aircraft platform at the Farnborough International Airshow. Faced with high development costs and challenges in commercialization, aerospace startups are reducing costs and accelerating product launches through cross-industry collaborations. The platform, developed based on a cooperation agreement signed by both parties in 2024, caters to both commercial and military applications.
