Industry insiders reveal that BOE has encountered setbacks at pivotal junctures in its cooperative negotiations with major international tech firms like Apple and Samsung in recent times. These setbacks stem mainly from BOE's inability to fulfill the stringent mass-production quality and quality control standards set by these industry leaders.
Despite BOE's concerted efforts to win Samsung's contract and its initiation of pertinent development projects, internal disputes arose within Samsung concerning the adoption of BOE's OLED panels. Lately, the opposing factions within Samsung have gained the upper hand, resulting in the collapse of the collaborative venture.
