After experiencing almost a year of delays, the Trump T1 phone finally made its official debut and began shipping in May of this year, boasting a price tag of $499. Recently, the well-known disassembly team, iFixit, unveiled a detailed disassembly report. The report highlights that the internal design and core specifications of the T1 phone bear a striking resemblance to those of the HTC U24 Pro. This suggests that the T1 phone can essentially be regarded as a rebranded version of the HTC U24 Pro, distinguished only by its gold-colored exterior casing and the inclusion of American flag motifs.
Upon disassembly, it was discovered that the T1 phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and a spacious 512GB of storage. Additionally, it houses a substantial 5000mAh battery, albeit with a charging capacity capped at 30W. iFixit's assessment indicates that the T1 phone falls short in substantiating its claim of being 'Made in the USA,' a notion that becomes even more apparent when examining its physical appearance and marketing packaging.
