Apple plans to introduce a new service for the iPhone that allows users to split bills for group meals or activities. Users can take photos of receipts, divide the bill among multiple people, and automatically generate payment requests. This feature operates via Apple Cash and can be used within the Wallet app or the Messages app. It is expected to be officially announced as early as next week at the Worldwide Developers Conference and pre-installed in iOS 27.
