The 'iPhone moment' for AI glasses has yet to materialize, but the market is already abuzz with activity. During the second quarter, manufacturers like Thunderbird Innovation and Alibaba Qianwen unveiled their latest offerings, and Google too has announced its plans to launch its inaugural AI glasses in the autumn. In response to this trend, companies within the A-share AI glasses industrial chain have stepped up their deployment, particularly focusing on two pivotal areas: optical components and main control chips. Optical components constitute nearly half of the total cost in AI glasses equipped with display capabilities, with Micro LED display technology emerging as a focal point for companies. Meanwhile, main control chips account for 20-30% of the cost, prompting active participation from A-share companies such as BES Technik and VeriSilicon.
