The HUAWEI MateBook Fold Enterprise Edition has made its official debut, marking an upgrade from its predecessor, the HUAWEI MateBook Fold. Tailored specifically for business needs, this enterprise-focused variant comes pre-installed with the HarmonyOS Professional and Enterprise Edition operating systems. These systems introduce a dual-space feature, facilitating seamless digital transformation for enterprises and enabling effortless transitions between internal and external network office settings. Moreover, the device intelligently assigns permissions and applications according to employee roles, and supports centralized management through a comprehensive end-to-cloud collaboration framework.
In terms of hardware specifications, the enterprise edition retains a high degree of similarity with the standard model. Its standout feature is a foldable screen that expands to an impressive 18 inches when fully opened, boasting a resolution of 3296×2472 pixels. When folded, the screen measures 13 inches with a resolution of 2472×1648 pixels. This display supports a vast color gamut of 1.07 billion colors, leveraging Huawei's proprietary dual-layer OLED technology. It achieves a peak brightness of up to 1600 nits, extends the screen's lifespan by threefold, and reduces energy consumption by 30%. Additionally, the laptop is powered by the Kirin X90 chipset, offers a generous 32GB of RAM, and provides storage options of either 1TB or 2TB SSD. To ensure optimal thermal performance, it employs an ultra-thin diamond aluminum dual-fan cooling system, complemented by a copper-steel composite 3D vapor chamber for efficient heat dissipation.
