The Unmanned Aircraft Operation Management (UOM) platform has released an announcement, indicating that the new national-level framework for unmanned aircraft flyable airspace has been fully put into effect. Based on the information from the UOM platform, a significant portion of airspace below 120 meters has been made accessible for unmanned aircraft operations in Shenzhen, encompassing roughly 75% of the city's total airspace. Excluding specific zones like airport clearance protection areas, the majority of Shenzhen's urban regions now fulfill the criteria for low-altitude flights. This development signifies a notable advancement in the allocation of low-altitude airspace resources and the digital governance of such spaces in Shenzhen, aligning with international practices of optimizing airspace utilization for unmanned aerial vehicles.
