During this gathering, both parties engaged in thorough discussions regarding the establishment of Xiamen's zero-carbon tech city and comprehensive cooperation across the new energy industry's entire value chain. They also jointly oversaw the signing ceremony for pertinent projects. Based on the specifics of the signing, Ningde Times is set to prioritize the advancement of three key initiatives:
Firstly, the company will establish a regional production hub for high-performance automotive and energy storage lithium batteries, encompassing the full manufacturing spectrum from cell production to module assembly and PACK integration. This move aims to bolster Xiamen's new energy battery industry cluster.
Secondly, Ningde Times will deepen its collaboration with the Xiamen Municipal Government in the low-altitude aviation sector. Autoflight's eVTOL (electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft will play a pivotal role in constructing a complete industrial ecosystem, thereby jointly fostering a standardized, normalized, and large-scale urban air mobility operation framework.
Thirdly, the company will concentrate on pioneering research in cutting-edge new energy technologies and nurturing top-tier talent, thereby offering intellectual backing for the growth of Xiamen's new energy sector.
