On April 30, according to a report by the US tech website MacRumors, Apple updated the Vision Pro in October 2025, primarily upgrading the M5 chip and improving the headband design to enhance comfort, without making other hardware changes. However, this update failed to rekindle market interest, and consumer enthusiasm for the product remains low. According to reports, Apple has largely abandoned this product and halted related R&D efforts, with original team members being reassigned to other projects. Although the M5 chip version of the Vision Pro is still available for sale, Apple currently has no plans to launch a new model.
