In March 2026, the total shipments of mobile phones within the domestic market hit 21.15 million units, marking a 7.1% decrease compared to the same period the previous year. Among these, shipments of 5G mobile phones soared to 19.667 million units, representing a 1.3% increase year-on-year and accounting for a substantial 93% of the total shipments. From January to March 2026, the cumulative shipments of mobile phones in the domestic market stood at 60.805 million units, experiencing a 12.7% decline year-on-year. Meanwhile, shipments of 5G mobile phones reached 55.468 million units, a 9.1% decrease from the previous year, yet still comprising 91.2% of the overall shipments.
