On April 23, 2026, during the New Product Gala, JD.com launched its ambitious 'Trillion-Yuan Initiative for Omni-Channel New Product Triumph'. This initiative aims to harness the power of search and recommendation traffic, leverage influential marketing intellectual properties (IPs), tap into omni-channel resources, utilize cutting-edge AI tools, and foster a vibrant content ecosystem. The overarching objective is to foster the development of at least 1,000 new products that will achieve annual sales exceeding 100 million yuan within the current year. JD.com, for the first time, shared new product performance data, revealing that in 2025, the number of significant new product launches surged by 223% compared to the previous year. Additionally, the success rate of these launches soared by 5.5 times, and the daily transaction volume for new products witnessed a year-on-year increase of over 36%.
