On April 16, Apple announced that by 2025, 30% of the materials used in its delivered products will come from recycled materials. Currently, all batteries designed by Apple already use 100% recycled cobalt, and all magnets use 100% recycled rare earth elements. Additionally, Apple has achieved its 2025 plastic-free packaging goal ahead of schedule, with all products now using fiber-based packaging.
