On April 16, Meta announced that starting from April 19, 2026, it will raise the prices of the Quest 3 and Quest 3S headsets. Specifically, the Quest 3S (128GB) and Quest 3S (256GB) will each see a price increase of $50, bringing their new prices to $349.99 and $449.99, respectively. The Quest 3 will see a price increase of $100, bringing its new price to $599.99. Refurbished devices will also be sold at the new prices, while the prices of all Quest accessories will remain unchanged. Meta stated that this price adjustment is due to a significant rise in manufacturing costs for high-performance VR hardware, particularly the global price increase of key components such as memory chips, which has affected nearly all consumer electronics, including VR. To maintain the quality of hardware, software, and services on the Quest platform, the company has decided to adjust the prices.
