According to media sources close to Microsoft, the company plans to take a two-step approach to revive its Surface PC hardware business. First, the company will release a non-Pro Surface model equipped with an OLED display and powered by an Intel Core Ultra 3-series processor this spring; this will be followed by the launch of a Surface model featuring a Snapdragon X2 processor this summer. The entry-level versions of both product lines will come standard with 16GB of memory and 256GB of storage, with options to upgrade to up to 64GB of memory and 2TB of storage. In addition to processor upgrades, the OLED display will be a significant highlight, although it may not be available on the entry-level models. Furthermore, Microsoft also plans to introduce haptic feedback functionality from Windows 11 for the new products.
