Apple's plan to transition its tablet product line to OLED panels is gradually becoming clear. According to the latest industry report, the iPad Air is expected to adopt OLED panels as early as 2027, with Samsung Display becoming the primary supplier and planning to initiate mass production by the end of 2026. This shift signifies that the iPad Air product line will gradually phase out LCD screens. Given the high market sales of the iPad Air, Samsung Display's supply volume is expected to surpass that of the iPad Pro series. Additionally, Samsung Display will also supply OLED panels for Apple's new MacBook Pro.
