Recently, the Network Security Threat and Vulnerability Information Sharing Platform (NVDB) under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has detected that cyber attackers are exploiting vulnerability tools specifically designed to target Apple's end-user products. These attacks have the potential to lead to grave consequences, including information theft and unauthorized system control. The affected devices include iPhones and iPads operating on iOS versions ranging from 13.0 to 17.2.1. Attackers typically employ deceptive tactics, such as phishing through text messages, emails, or malicious webpages, to lure users into visiting sites laden with malicious code via the Safari browser. Once the user interacts with the malicious content, the attackers can exploit vulnerabilities in the device to implant remote control Trojans, steal sensitive user information, obtain elevated privileges, and ultimately take control of the affected devices.
