Apple has officially classified the entire 2019 iPad Air 3 lineup—encompassing all Wi-Fi and cellular models—as 'vintage products.' This tablet model was discontinued in 2020, meaning that it has now been over five years since its production ceased. The iPad Air 3 boasts an enhanced 10.5-inch display, introduces initial support for the Apple Pencil, and is equipped with the powerful A12 Bionic chip. Its successor, the iPad Air 4, features a full-screen design and does away with the traditional Home button.

In line with Apple's after-sales policy, devices that have been discontinued for a period exceeding five years but less than seven years are designated as 'vintage products.' While Apple's official retail stores and authorized service providers may continue to provide repair services for these vintage products, the feasibility of repairs is contingent upon the availability of necessary parts in their inventory.
