On March 31 local time, Apple updated its list of device lifecycle statuses, designating the 2017 13-inch MacBook Air as a 'vintage product' and classifying all configurations of the iPad mini 4 and the 32GB version of the Apple TV HD as 'obsolete products.' Vintage products refer to devices that have been discontinued for more than 5 years but less than 7 years, and may still receive limited repair support if parts inventory allows. Obsolete products, on the other hand, are devices that have been discontinued for more than 7 years and will no longer receive any form of official hardware repair or service support.
