Recently, a tempered glass screen protector, presumably designed for the iPhone 18 Pro, surfaced online, revealing a significantly slimmer cutout for the 'Dynamic Island' feature. Earlier, there had been conflicting reports regarding whether the Dynamic Island area on the iPhone 18 series would be downsized, but these real-world images offer concrete proof. Based on information from several sources, the Dynamic Island's width on the iPhone 18 Pro will shrink from 20.76mm on the iPhone 17 Pro to 13.49mm, marking a 35% decrease and substantially boosting the screen-to-body ratio. This modification is a result of Apple relocating some Face ID components beneath the screen, leaving only the front-facing camera and dot projector in the notch area. The emergence of these real-life images further validates the credibility of this design alteration.
