On March 26th, the news of Xiaomi discontinuing its MIUI system sparked intense discussions and quickly became a trending topic on social media. In response, the official Xiaomi HyperOS team clarified that MIUI has successfully fulfilled its role in system evolution and has now officially passed the torch to HyperOS. While maintenance for MIUI will be gradually phased out over time, essential security patch updates will continue to be provided to ensure user safety. Previously, Xiaomi has already upgraded millions of devices to HyperOS. Notably, the last two overseas models, Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+, will cease all software updates on March 24th, 2026, marking the end of an era.
